Burn it up

New mixed media dragon painting (I'm quite enjoying the recent desire to paint).

An armoured Wyrm/dragon burning the shit out of everything.
I was experimenting with mixed paint techniques - base of black/dark coloured Polychromo pencils for the ashen bits, then the oranges/darker fiery hues done with Gouche paint, then a wash of pale yellow with white and darker yellow in places, dragon was then coloured with Acrylic paints, and then details were added: gold Polychromo for outlining flames and black chalk pastel for scorched patches. All on just basic A4 white card.
I quite enjoyed this, I'm even rather pleased with it.
