Not a dragon, though it resembles my Fiain Wyverns and Magpie dragon. I made this for a 'create a monster' competion for ITV channel's Primeval tv series [link]
I thought an evolved form of the European Magpie would be awesome.
Here's the decscription i made for part of my contest submission:
An evolved Corvid species, distantly related to the European magpie. They are covered in hide and toughened raised scales. Their features and colouration help camouflage in their rocky habitat. They can fly, walk on their hind legs with a hopping gait or crawl four-legged using their wings.
Males differ from females by a bigger and yellow tipped crest of quills on the head. They are also smaller in size.
They are omnivorous scavengers about the size of a small Labrador dog, and like their magpie relations, have a liking for shiny objects.

What a fantastic idea. You blend something like the wonderful magpie with a lizardish-dragonish look....it's just fantastic. If I saw a creature like that, I'd want one as a pet in an instant. LOL
